Our wonderful audience of over 200 was entertained throughout the event by the Joyful Jazz
and the Big Moose Bands – including Sophie.

The Emmaus Shelter is more is appreciative of the many businesses that donated auction items
The fundraiser developed into a collaborative “community” effort: the fabulous, delicious
spread of mostly all organic appetizers and buffet was provided under the direction of
Hadley Friedman from the Simmering Pot of Blue Hill and Jennie Cline from the Common
Good Kitchen in Southwest Harbor. Both of these soup kitchens serve a weekly free meal
to those in need.
